Meet French Tech Houston: Home of NASA, Texas Medical Center & more
October 13 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Houston is the home of Johnson Space Center—celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing and Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon—the World Series-winning Houston Astros, and the world-renowned Texas Medical Center—the largest medical city in the world. It also is the most ethnically diverse city in the U.S. (145 languages spoken!) and was named in 2020 as No 2 in the U.S. for corporate relocation and expansion projects.
But what do you really know about the Houston startup scene and their French Tech entrepreneurs who are part of Houston’s French Tech Community?
Join us for a discussion with Marc Garbey, Ph.D, President of French Tech Houston, and Constance Bost, Executive Director of the French-American Chamber of Commerce-Houston, for some new perspectives on the tech startup scene in the fourth most populous city in the U.S.—just 2.5 hours from Austin.
Moderator: Liz Wiley — French Tech Austin & Honorary Consul of France
